Privacy policy
Aetherline Golf is an Android game published by Binary Data Technology. This policy describes the current version, 1.2.1.
Information handled
- Local play data and settings: selected and unlocked challenges, completed challenge identifiers and best stroke counts, plus your preferences (sound, vibration, graphics quality, shot preview, commentary, and your chosen golfer and outfit) and tournament results against computer-controlled rivals, are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They contain no name, contact details or advertising identifier, are excluded from Android backup, and are never sent to Binary Data Technology.
- Purchases, subscription and free trial: Google Play processes payment, subscription and purchase history. The game receives confirmations from Google Play and stores only a one-way hash (SHA-256) of the purchase token, whether the full game is unlocked or subscribed, the time Google Play last confirmed the subscription, and any in-game trial dates, in the app's private storage, so the game keeps working offline. This data is never sent to Binary Data Technology. The game uses an Android-provided device identifier only on the device, to protect this file from tampering; the identifier is not stored or transmitted. Subscribers and full-game owners are offered an ad-free mulligan.
- Optional rewarded ads: Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or other identifiers for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit.
- Consent and privacy choices: where required, the app asks for consent before requesting an ad and keeps a Privacy choices control available when Google reports that one is required.
- Support: if a player emails support, we receive the address, message, and any information the player chooses to include.
The current version does not create or use a Binary Data Technology account, upload progress to a Binary Data Technology server, offer cloud save or online leaderboards, or use Google Play Games sign-in. The only in-app products are the yearly full-game subscription and the one-time full-game unlock sold in version 1.2.0, both through Google Play.
Use and sharing
Local progress is used only to resume the game on the device. Advertising data is processed by Google and its advertising partners to provide and measure ads, analyze performance, and prevent fraud or abuse. Binary Data Technology may receive aggregated advertising reports. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Local progress and settings remain until you use Settings > Reset Progress (progress only; the full-game unlock, subscription and trial record are kept so you do not lose a purchase), clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Google controls retention of information processed by Google Mobile Ads under Google's policies. Players can use the in-game Privacy choices control when available and Android's Privacy > Ads controls.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and is normally deleted within 30 days after an eligible deletion request, except where security or law requires longer retention. See the Aetherline Golf Data Deletion Guide for steps.
Children
Aetherline Golf is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not enrolled in Designed for Families. We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information.
